Job Description:
Plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of a specific product line and ensures that assigned product/products are marketed in accordance with budgeted objectives and with respect to market maturity to obtain maximum profitability and volume in relation to pre:set standards. Will also define and deliver an integrated brand and marketing plan in collaboration with other marketing team members and cross:functional partners by developing close, productive relationships with the field sales organization, regional managers, key opinion leaders, and other physicians to fully understand product performance and customer needs.
:Formulates and installs sales promotion guidelines, methods and procedures. Assists with the over all sales promotion and marketing programs
:Prepares sales training and selling aids, literature and brochures and catalogue displays along with advertising or similar materials. In addition, may administer sales promotion projects such as sales contests
:Originates new uses and markets for products and recommends distribution channels for them
:Analyzes competitive position of company products and recommends or supervises product styling, quality changes, inventory alLocation:, and price structures
:Analyzes and appraises the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results
:Supervises, coordinates or recommends advertising programs and coordinates publicity and maintains contacts with agencies
:Supervises or cooperates in market research programs
:Recommends participation in industrial, scientific and other types of exhibitions. May develop direct mail campaigns and programs
:Participate in or advise on label, package and product design, from a sales promotional standpoint
:Prepare or cooperate in the preparation of sales forecasts and in development of projected selling expense budgets
:Will participate in the sales and/or marketing training of others
:Manages and/or facilitates functional input in the new product development process for assigned products
:Submits periodic reports on areas of responsibility
:Provides sales force with competitive and technical information on a timely basis
:Directs the activities and evaluate performance of one or more subordinate marketing employees
:Cultivate and coordinate impact thought leader relationships
:Act as technical resource for overall marketing needs
:Aid in business development coordination
:Coach and develop other Product Managers and Marketing Associates as required by team structure
:Defines and executes downstream brand and marketing strategy for assigned Stryker Navigation products to achieve divisional revenue goals within allocated budget
